Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) is the highest peak in North Africa and the most popular trek in Morocco. Our Toubkal treks start in Imlil, about 1.5 hours from Marrakech, and are led by certified local mountain guides. We are one of the few teams with our own tents at the Toubkal refuge. Choose a 2-day summit trek, or a gentler trek through Berber villages with nights in local guesthouses.

How the Toubkal summit trek works
Day 1: drive from Marrakech to Imlil and hike up the valley to the Toubkal refuge, where you spend the night. Day 2: early start for the summit at 4,167 m, sunrise views over the Atlas, then descend to Imlil and drive back to Marrakech.
No technical climbing is needed in the main season, but you should be fit and used to long walking days. In winter, snow and ice make crampons and extra equipment necessary — ask us before booking.
